Des Glasgow
Managing Director
Des's insight spans many years, from his industry beginnings as a tradesman through to his current status as the Glasgow Services Limited Managing Director. His experience in the construction industry is wide and varied and includes involvement in pipelines, petrochemical installations, gas plants, power stations, offshore platforms and barges both in the North Sea and off New Zealand. He has also provided engineering support to the entertainment business. Starting out as a Scaffolding and Rigging service to industry the business introduced quality management in the early days and through Des' s commitment became an ISO 9002 accredited company. Des then recognised the value of training staff to his own high standards and so Glasgow Services Limited was established. Des has now completely changed the focus of his business and it is now totally dedicated to providing an advisory service and training programmes which are conducted by its own tutors and the associated companies who meet the same rigorous standards initiated and applied by Des Glasgow.
